Managers required for junior section teams
Our volunteer coaches have found themselves over-run with the need to prepare coaching plans as well as handing all the general administration of each squad.
The demands on their time relating to coaching plans will increase next year due to the Single System Development Pathway and the introduction of the New Rules of Hockey relating to free hits.
Teddington Hockey Club will therefore introduce a system of Managers attached to each squad. Volunteers are urgently required to form this network.
The main duty of the Managers is to undertake the confirmation of matches and squads. This mainly involves close liaison with the Lead Coach and the Junior Fixture Secretary, being organised and a few e-mails a week.
Please contact the Junior Fixtures Secretary, David Pead, if you feel you can take on this role for one of the squads. E-mail: david.pead@blueyonder.co.uk

The boys face a round robin against Bromley and Beckenham, Peterborough and Cannock and the girls go up against Wakefield, Lytham St Annes and Surbiton at The University of Birmingham on 25th and 26th April. Good luck to both sides.
